A Framework For Effectively Engaging Youth and Schools in Inclusive Resilience Planning
A report describing the challenges faced by low-income young people of color in cities and their limited involvement in city planning processes, and proposing an equity-driven framework to guide and assess meaningful engagement, with a focus on resilience in the face of adversity and climate change, highlighting the Youth-Plan, Learn, Act, Now (Y-PLAN) initiative as a case study for fostering relationships between civic leaders and young people and creating more inclusive and innovative approaches to city planning.
