Susan co-founded Wealth Strategist Partners with Stuart Lucas. She works with business owning families and families with multi-generational wealth on matters of governance, strategy, and organizational sustainability.
Previously, Susan was on the senior team at Talisman Management, a London-based private equity firm, and led the consulting practice for B2P, an early data analytics firm. Earlier in her career, she worked as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and at Bain and Company in the United States and Europe.
Susan is a Trustee of Wellesley College, where she was the founding chair of the Board’s Wellesley Experience Committee, which oversees academic affairs, student life, admissions and financial aid, and the student experience. She has served on that Board’s Investment, Audit, Governance, Development, and Campus and Finance Committees. Susan served for 10 years on the Board, and is the Immediate Past Chair of Legacy Charter School, a K-8 public elementary school in North Lawndale, one of Chicago’s most underserved communities. During her Board service, Legacy ranked as a high-performing school and the school built the first new elementary school to be constructed in North Lawndale in 60 years. Susan has served in numerous capacities for her family’s synagogue, Chicago Sinai Congregation, including President of the Board and member of the Executive, Finance, Investment, Governance and Strategic Planning committees. She currently serves on the congregation’s Foundation board.
Susan has a B.A., cum laude, in Economics from Wellesley College and an M.A. in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago.
She and her husband Stuart have three children and live in Chicago.
