Rani is a member of the Strategy, Partnerships and Learning team and supports collaboration across teams, convenings with grantee partners, as well as project and calendar management. She appreciates the Stuart Foundation’s systems-change approach and is excited that her work at the Foundation contributes to more inclusive educational environments for historically marginalized students. Rani’s commitment to racial justice and educational equity has been a throughline in her experience within the nonprofit and government sectors. Prior to the Stuart Foundation, Rani was a Partnership Manager at Equal Opportunity Schools, where she worked with high school leaders to increase access for students of color to Advance Placement courses. During her Master’s program, she spent time with the City of Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning working to create funding opportunities for community-based organizations.

Ever grateful for her community that has supported her through her educational journey, Rani holds a Master’s in education policy from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s in communication and gender studies from Santa Clara University. After work and on the weekends, she is most likely spending time with family and friends, drinking boba, or taking care of her cat.
