In her role as Vice President, Finance and Administration, Kristen works to both oversee and enhance the Foundation’s finance and operations in alignment with the Foundation’s vision, values, and goals. She is equal parts strategist and operator, helping the strategy come to life through internal systems and practices. She enjoys the breadth of her role as it challenges her to think differently each day. Kristen is pleased to have the opportunity to work for the Foundation helping California adolescents to thrive in school and in their communities.

Kristen has held senior leadership roles across nonprofit, social enterprise and business organizations including Oxfam Great Britain, Glide Foundation, Rubicon Programs, and Urban Alchemy. Across each organization, she has strengthened capacity, sustainability, and vibrancy at these important social institutions. Kristen currently serves on the board of Springboard Next and the Audit Committee for Parks California in addition to volunteering with her alma mater and neighborhood groups. Kristen holds an MBA degree from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University. She is holds a Certified Public Accountant license in California.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys the great outdoors of the Bay Area with her family and learning ceramics.
