Amber manages the Foundation’s communications channels and supports more broadly its communications efforts and narrative strategy. She was drawn to the Foundation’s mission and its broad vision of adolescent thriving that incorporates not only educational and career success, but also feelings of joy, belonging, and purpose.

Previously, Amber was a Digital Communications Specialist at the Learning Policy Institute, where she supported communications efforts and projects focused on sharing education research with policymakers, education leaders, educators, and others who care about excellent and equitable education for each and every child. Prior to that, she was a Communications and Marketing Fellow at the Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania.

Amber grew up in Southern California and is a proud product of California K–12 public schools. She received a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also minored in Computer Science and Fine Arts and competed for Penn’s Division 1 gymnastics team.

When she’s not working, you can find Amber cooking and baking, researching restaurant menus, surfing in Santa Cruz, watching movies and sports, and camping and hiking all over California.
