Glenda brings over 7 years of grantmaking and community relations experience. Previously she worked for Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit Program where she supported a local grant contributions program. She assisted community partners with grant applications, in-kind requests, and provided technical assistance. Her work included supporting Community Health Needs Assessments, which determine funding priorities and strategies for hospitals, and planning community health events and activities. She also worked with Kaiser Permanente in their implementation of an electronic health records system, training physicians and providers to use the new system across various sites in Northern California.
Glenda earned her BA in Sociology and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is passionate about supporting vulnerable youth and eliminating disparities in health and education.
