Danielle Durán

Special Assistant to the President

With over a decade of leadership experience in both the public and private sectors education, Danielle brings a holistic perspective to the Stuart Foundation team. Her career has spanned the learning process from working on summer learning with the MyWay Learning Company to working with the Educational Results Partnership to encourage student success in postsecondary education, to Teach for America, where she helped improve teaching in the K-12 school system. She has taught 7th grade math, science, and history in the Los Angeles Unified School District and worked in higher education as an adjunct professor at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education.

Danielle earned a BA from the University of Southern California and an MA in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University.
